Year 1 is a snake draft format. Drawn at random – then let owners select their draft position based on what is available.

For example, if your team is randomly drawn 1st, then you would get to select the draft slot you want (maybe 3rd) then the next person on the list would get to select their position.

22 round snake online draft. 90-120 sec time limit per pick.

Total time ~ 2 hours.

Each team must cut down their roster to 22 players for each weekly deadline during the season.

Off-Season drafts are 12 rounds. All rookies and free agents will be included in the draft eligible players.

Weeks 1-14.

H2H matchups using Gonzo scoring.

Eight (8) teams advance to the Gonzo Playoffs. The three divisional winners and the best second-place team are automatically considered to be the top four teams.

Remaining seeds are determined by the following: (B. team’s regular-season W-L (percentage) record, C. divisional standings, D. point differential (PF – PA), E. remaining Gonzo cash).

Weeks 15-17.

First playoff week (Wild Card Playoffs): The eight playoff teams are matched up so that the #8 seed visits the #1 seed, the #7 seed visits the #2 seed, the #6 seed visits the #3 seed, and the #5 seed visits the #4 seed.The four winners advance to the second week of the playoffs; the four losers are eliminated.

Second playoff week (Divisional Playoffs): The four surviving teams are matched up so that the worst remaining team (based on the playoff seeding criteria) visits the best remaining team, and the second-worst remaining team visits the second-best remaining team. The two winners advance to the Gonzo Bowl; the two losers advance to the Gonzolation Bowl.

Third playoff week (Gonzo Bowl and Gonzolation Bowl): The two teams which won in the second playoff week play for the league championship in the Gonzo Bowl with the worse remaining team (based on the playoff seeding criteria) visiting the better remaining team. The two teams which lost in the second playoff week play in the Gonzolation Bowl with the worse team visiting the better team.

Trades are allowed. Trade deadline is Nov 18 (Week 11).

Trades can be contested by other league owners and then sent to the Gonzo review committee to determine trades validity.
